I am so in love with the Fluevog Malibrans that have been making the rounds through the blogosphere. And now that I’ve learned from Catiecake that they come in shiny red patent, well – I’m a goner. I mean, who wouldn’t be – these are beautiful!
Sadly, the one time I went in a Fluevog store, in Seattle some years back, their size 6 – more or less my normal size – was HUGE on me. I left empty handed and sad, as at the time they did not stock any smaller sizes. These, however, also come in size 5 and 5.5, so I’m sure that I could work something out.
So tell me, my fellow shoe-lovin’ girls – do you own these? Or other Fluevogs? How is the sizing these days?

I haven’t tried these on yet, but I am very hopeful I will love them. There was a problem when I filled out my order online, so Fluevog customer service called me and the guy on the phone said that all the women there own at least two of the Operetta heels. SO HOPEFUL. I’ll report back.

I have the Malibrans in Goldenrod, and they are by far one of my favorite pairs of shoes. I love them so much that I later bought a pair of Fiorenzas as well, which has the same heel.
Endless has them on sale right now, but I didn’t see your size. I would recommend ordering them directly from Fluevog.com. Their customer service is excellent.

I have those and they fit close to a regular 7.5 for me.

Those are gorgeous. Diana inspired me to run to Haight St. several months ago to try the ones in Goldenrod. Sadly, they did not look good on me. But, they look stunning on others and I can’t help but sigh every time I see them.

I have them in green and adore them!! I tried them on in red and loved them as well but bought them in green as I already have some Fluevog Honey’s in red and pink.

i bought them the moment they came out, in the original dark violet. they are pretty high, but so very comfortable. i think they would fit you pretty well, as they are a bit wide and short on me (stupid skinny feet o mine).
i almost never wear them as i dont’ want to hurt them.

So did you snag a pair yet? I’m curious to know about the sizing, too, and will be watching the turquoise ones like a hawk until they come down to the $150-or-less range. I’m liking the orange Fiorenzias, also. Looks like our shoe passions keep getting pricier (says she who just bought another pair of El Naturalistas). If I make it to shoe rehab before you, I promise I’ll save you a seat

I have these! Love them!! I never wear heels and was worried about the heel height on these but these shoes have actually been designed to be worn by humans who walk and they are comfortable! I mean, I wouldn’t want to walk for hours and hours in them, but I’m not crippled after 1hr either.
I find them a bit wide (I have narrow feet) but that doesn’t cause any problems. I found they fit a half size off what I normally wear (sorry, don’t remember if they were a half size smaller or bigger than I normally wear!).
Fluevogs are dreamy shoes. I have about 5 more I’d love to get if I could afford it!
