I first fell for the Ecco Bouillon mary janes when I saw them on sweet Emily‘s fashion blog. Then I saw them on a few other feet around the web, and then I promptly forgot about them. You know how it goes – so many shoes, so little time.
I’ve been looking around for something fun and festive. And I do think these fit the bill! The red that Emily chose is lovely, but the buffed silver seems very holiday-appropriate.
But if it’s red you want – and you know me, I always want red! – Ecco makes the most adorable little ballerina flat, with a little button, in shiny red (among other colors). Festive and fun!

Though I agree with Quentin Crisp that “Happy people have no need of festivity”, still I am expected to make an appearance at several holiday gathering each season. These are beautiful. I think the silver boullion would make a great pairing with you marvelous grey coat pictured below. Wear them and be wonderful!
