This one’s from Jill. I’m not going to tag anyone, but I do hope others will play along – if so, please leave me a comment :)

  1. I’m an only child.
  2. I hate carbonated beverages.
  3. I adore dogs and cats and most animals in general, and they like me equally well.
  4. Babies like me a lot, too, as I do them.
  5. Small children, on the other hand, find me scary.
  6. I have hated my hair as long as I can remember. So much so that I am thisclose to committing follicular manslaughter.
  7. I’ve had five root canals, and six dental crowns.
  8. I had my first dentist appointment when I was four years old. When the dentist brought out the drill, I was so terrified that I jumped out of the chair and was a half-block down Market Street before the adults could catch me.
  9. I have very quick reflexes and a keen sense of danger.
  10. I learned to knit for the first time when I was about seven years old, but sucked at it. So I abandoned the craft until about four years ago, when I fell in love with it and have been utterly obsessed ever since.
  11. I failed Phys Ed in my first semester of 7th grade. The next semester, my doctor wrote me an asthma exemption and I never took another gym glass.
  12. Ironically, I outgrew my childhood asthma attacks the very next year, for the most part.
  13. I have extreme tactile sensitivity – I cannot stand turtleneck sweaters, tight clothing, being touched around my waistline, or having my hair long enough to rub on my shoulders.
  14. That said – I find it interesting that I am not ticklish.
  15. When I get my feet measured, the measuring thingie tells me that I am a size 5 1/2. But I recently learned that if I go up a half-size, or even a full size, my feet are much happier.
  16. I can’t walk very well in flip-flops, or slides. They just fall right off.
  17. I’m one-quarter ethnic Georgian. Studies have been done correlating the incredibly long life span of the Georgians to their diet, which mainly consists of pork and lamb, with few grains, fruits, or vegetables.
  18. I tried to be a vegetarian once. As a result, I became incredibly ill. Coincidence? Based on the aforementioned studies, I think not.
  19. I have a huge amateur interest in genetics.
  20. My mathematical ineptitude ruled out med school. Chemistry equations escape me. So here I am in library school, attending a school which I specifically chose because it’s one of the few that doesn’t require a statistics class!
